Our customer services team are available Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm. It may be possible to reach a live chat team member on the website outside of these hours and over the weekend.

You certainly can, we offer visits by appointment only. You can visit the workshop from Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm. To book an appointment please contact help@calderfurniture.co.uk or use our online chat to speak to a team member.

Orders and account

You can place an order with us online by adding products to your basket and using our secure checkout. Alternatively, if you would prefer to place an order over the phone, you can call us on 01422 728485 and a member of our team will process your order.
You can find information about your ongoing and previous orders in the My Account area.
Orders go straight to our workshop so we’re unable to guarantee order amendments or cancellations. If you have made a mistake with your order, such as the wrong length or width of your new table, or you would like to amend the delivery address, please get in touch on 01422 728485 and we’ll do our best to help.

You can track the status of your order by visiting the My Account area and clicking on the Orders tab.

Processing means your payment has been received and your order is being fulfilled.

Completed means  your order has been fulfilled and dispatched for delivery.

Authentication required means we are awaiting your action to authenticate the transaction with your card issuer.

Failed means your payment failed or was declined. Note that this status may not show immediately and instead show as Pending until verified.

Cancelled means your order has been cancelled either by Calder Furniture or yourself.

Refunded means your order has been refunded by Calder Furniture and no further action is required.

The current lead time for delivery is approximately 7 to 10 days and up to 4 to 6 weeks for large orders or bespoke sized tables.

You can update your address by visiting the My Account area and clicking on the Address tab where you can update both your billing and delivery addresses.
You can update your information by visiting the My Account area and clicking on the Account Details tab where you can update your name, email address and password.
If you would like to delete your account please send an email to admin@calderfurniture.co.uk and we’ll get your account removed. Please note for legal purposes, we will need to keep a copy of any orders you have placed with us as well as any correspondence for 1 year from the date of the records.

We accept payments from all major debit and credit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. You can use your card to pay for your purchase securely on our website through Stripe, who use the best-in-class security tools and practices to maintain a high level of security.

Products and care

Absolutely, customisation is at the heart of Calder Furniture and we aim to provide you with furniture to suit your style. We have a range of dining tables and benches where you can customise the table top style, wood finish, leg style and material. We also offer a bespoke range of dining tables where you can customise the size too.

Product dimensions are specified on every product page* beneath the photos and personalisation options.

*Excludes bespoke tables.

Yes, all of our tables and benches are flat packed and are supplied with an instructional booklet.

Yes, our indoor dining tables and benches are waterproof.

We use a water based, environmentally friendly and non-toxic wood stain in a variety of colours.

Disclaimer: Whilst every effort is taken to ensure your table meets your desired width, we use natural timber which sometimes requires the edges to be sanded and can result in a loss of up to 5cm in width. We could add a 5cm strip of timber but this would weaken the structure of your table.

All of our table tops and benches have a depth of between 35mm to 42mm.

You certainly can. Using beeswax in different shades such as antique pine or medium oak will change the colour of your table.

Assembly and delivery

We offer free delivery.

We are currently outsourcing our delivery to a local company who have a great team of delivery drivers.

We delivery to England, Wales and parts of Scotland.

At this time we are unable to deliver to the following areas:

  • Scottish Highlands
  • Northern Ireland
  • Remote Islands

At this time we are unable to offer international delivery.

Once your order has been received we will get in touch to arrange a delivery date with you.

We deliver 7 days a week so it’s possible we can arrange a delivery on a specified date though this may not always be possible.

We will get in touch with you to arrange delivery of your furniture which will hopefully avoid any missed deliveries. If we have to rearrange delivery there is a £25 fee payable to the delivery driver when they arrive at your property.

If your order is still being processed and has not yet been dispatched, we may be able to change the delivery location – please note there may be an additional charge depending on the location and time frame. Yes, all of our tables, benches and desks are flat packed and are supplied with an instructional booklet.

At this time we are unable to offer assembly however we will supply you with instructions to assembly your table, bench or desk and all you will need is a screwdriver – it’s an easy process.
