Your satisfaction is our top priority. We hope you are happy with your purchase. However, if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you may return it to us for a refund or an exchange. Please see below for more information on our returns policy.


For your peace of mind, our furniture products come with a 14 day refund or exchange guarantee.

To be eligible for an exchange or refund, furniture must be returned to us in the original packaging (unless you used our assembly service who remove packaging for you), unused and in the original condition in which you received it.

We do not offer exchanges or refunds for damage caused by mishandling furniture, misuse of furniture or the application of unsuitable coatings, polishes or abrasives. Please refer to our Furniture Care Guide for more information.

How long do I have to arrange a return?

We offer a 14 day returns policy from the date your furniture was delivered. Once you have arranged your return you will have 7 working days to arrange the return of your furniture to our workshop.

What if my item is faulty?

We make every effort to ensure orders are sent out complete and are of the best quality to guarantee your satisfaction. However, if your furniture arrives damaged, is faulty or missing parts that are due to an error we have made, we can offer an exchange or full refund.

How to arrange a return

To arrange a return, please get in touch either by telephone, emailing us at help@calderfurniture.co.uk or by using the returns form below. Where possible, we ask that you include photographs and details of the issue. If you contact us by email or contact form, we will endeavor to get in touch with you within 2 working days to discuss your return.

You can either arrange a time to return the furniture to the workshop yourself, use a courier service at your own cost or opt for a Calder Furniture driver to visit the address where the furniture was originally delivered at a cost of £30.00. All shipping cost options are non-refundable.

If you are eligible for a refund and have arranged collection with a Calder Furniture delivery driver, the £30.00 shipping cost will be deducted from your final refund.

If you decide to use a courier service, we recommend you choose a reputable company that offers tracking and insurance.

Exchanges and refunds

Once your return has been received at our workshop and checked, we will either call you or send an email to confirm receipt of your furniture and our decision on whether we can offer an exchange, full or partial refund.


We are happy to replace furniture items if they have arrived damaged or are missing parts that are due to an error we have made. Exchanges will be on a like-for-like basis.

Full or partial refunds

If we approve a full or partial refund, this will be processed within 3 working days and credit will be automatically applied to your credit or debit card. Your refund may not show in your account immediately and will depend on the clearing time required by banks to process the refund. Typically, this can take up to 7 working days, but varies depending on the bank. If the credit is not showing in your account after 7 working days, please get in touch with us at help@calderfurniture.co.uk.

A partial refund may be considered if for example a dining set has been returned, the dining table is in its original condition but one of the benches has been damaged from misuse.
